Almaden Expressway LOS Improvements

The Almaden Expressway LOS Improvements project alleviated traffic congestion from major traffic congestion at the intersection of Highway 85 and Almaden Expressway from a nearby major shopping center in the City of San Jose. DEENSCORP provided design services (PS&E) for LOS/ITS improvement for this expressway project. The project encompasses approximately a 2-mile long expressway segment and six major roadways that cross the expressway including SR 85 On-ramps and Off-ramps. DEENSCORP’s project team worked through some difficult issues related to SR 85 off-ramp interface with construction of roadways. Additionally, we performed extensive maintenance of Traffic Control/Management during construction.

The project was completed on time and within budget, resulting in improved traffic flow in the Expressway Intersections, SR-85 on-and-off ramp. Both our client and the public were pleased with the work performed by DEENSCORP to accomplish the project objectives.
