West Valley Bus Transit Center

The rehabilitation of West Valley College Bus Transit Center was a welcome improvement to the college students, visitors and local community. Situated in the serenity neighborhood of the City of Saratoga, the transit center links the bus patrons to other cities in the San Jose metropolitan area as well as to LRT and Caltrain stations.

As Lead consultants to VTA, DEENSCORP provided preliminary engineering, final design and construction support services for the renovation of the existing bus transit center facility. The project upgraded the bus shelters and lighting system with customized design and state-of-the-art facilities. The transit center was complemented by a well-thought landscape and wall design that provided an aesthetic view for the neighborhood.

Design integration with architects and other engineers was carried out during design and development of contract documents. Coordination was performed with the City and West Valley College officials and State of California Architecture Division.
